1. ​​"Black Eye"  Chardonnay          $30./Bottle
    It was dark, just before dawn.  Danuta Pfeiffer was excited to get into the vineyard.  She snapped off the lights and then slammed headfirst into the bedroom door.  While she nursed a bad shiner, we picked our chardonnay. We call this chardonnay “dark” due to the gold-green color derived from exposing the pressed juice to oxygen and stirring the must during fermentation. Enjoy our savory, tropical, complex chardonnay and celebrate the sacrifice of the owner’s black eye!
    Recommended Pairing: poultry, veal, pork loin, shellfish, mild cheese, almonds, cream sauce.
